Being a mixed media artist, I have always loved adding just about anything to my paintings. But I think the years I spent as an assemblage artist helped influence this class. Adding clothing either as an accent or actually painting over it has always intrigued me. And creating wearable art with my own design is a dream come true.
What is this class about:
This class explores adding 3-D objects to your painting to create a surreal portrait on canvas. In this lesson, you will have a downloadable full-length video on how to draw and paint a female portrait. And enhancing the portrait to include recycled clothing parts like a zipper, belt loop, and shirt collar.
Class Objective:
At the end of this class, you will have the confidence to add fabric, clothing parts, and accessories to your paintings which will assist you in taking your artwork to a surreal and fantasy level of creation.
