In this class, we will creating a female portrait painting using acrylic paints and stains/inks on watercolor paper. (A canvas can be used.) We will learn to apply gesso and create marks to lay the foundation of dramatic texture. We will create a whimsical and freeing portrait by applying loose strokes and washes of color.
